SMS & Text Messaging
By submitting your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive automated text messages from Integrity Clinical Medical Center. These may include appointment reminders, test results, billing notifications, and, if you choose, informational or wellness messages.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. Specifically:
• Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will never be shared with any third party for unrelated purposes.
• Your participation in SMS programs will not be disclosed except as necessary to provide messaging services.
• We may share only the information needed (such as your consent status) with secure service providers, mobile carriers, or platforms that assist in delivering these messages.
Compliance with FCC and TCPA Standards
• Marketing or promotional messages (e.g., wellness campaigns or new services) will be sent only with your prior express written consent, collected through a clear, voluntary action (such as checking a box or signing a form). Consent is never a condition of receiving care or services.
• Healthcare or informational messages related to your care—such as appointment reminders, prescriptions, or lab results—may be sent based on implied consent when you provide your mobile number as part of your patient record.
Opt-Out Process
You may stop receiving text messages at any time by:
• Replying “STOP” to any SMS you receive;
• Contacting Integrity Clinical Medical Center by phone, email, or through your patient portal;
• Informing a staff member during a visit.
Opt-out requests are processed promptly, typically within ten (10) business days. You will receive a single confirmation message, and no further texts will be sent unless you opt back in.
Messaging Guidelines
• Text messages are sent only during reasonable hours, generally between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM local time.
• We do not use numbers listed on the National Do Not Call Registry for marketing purposes, though non-marketing healthcare communications may still be sent as appropriate.
Data Security
All personal data, including your text messaging preferences, is stored securely and protected in accordance with HIPAA and the FTC’s Fair Information Practice Principles. We retain records of your consent and opt-out status as required by law and will not sell or use your personal data for unrelated purposes.
